Week-Long Day CampHorse CampsKids from 6-17 years of age get to experience everyday life at a barn! In addition to daily riding, they will learn how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING?● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside/outside of the barn.● No flip flops.● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch● Treats for the horses if you want● Helmets are provided.
