Your child will participate in both classes for the day and they can stay with the KidCreate staff and complete a guided project while they eat their lunch from home in between classes.

If it has strings, Paul Imholte probably plays it. Paul performs traditional American, Celtic, and original music on a nearly a dozen folk instruments. For the Lunch Bunch Show in March, he’ll play primarily traditional Irish music and throw in some of his original songs and instrumentals. A featured instrument of Paul is the hammered dulcimer. The hammered dulcimer is a trapezoid-shaped, string instrument. The strings of the instrument are struck with light hammers producing an enchanting sound. Paul also sings and plays fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, viola, cello, mountain dulcimer, autoharp, harmonica, jaw harp, and spoons. Paul’s music reflects growing up in rural Minnesota. He sings songs about about farms, small towns, and the people that make their living on the land. He has released twelve CDs of hammered dulcimer instrumentals and his original songs. Paul makes his home in St. Cloud, Minnesota and tours throughout the United States performing at festivals, schools, and concerts.

Learn the ins and outs of 3D printing with TinkerCAD! Students will learn to design their own custom mobs and Minecraft-inspired creations. One design will be printed offline and mailed home. Adapted Open Gym Come and enjoy an hour and a half of fun in our big gym! Adapted Open Gym is designed specifically for participants with special needs to explore, move, and play in a supportive and inclusive environment. It’s the perfect opportunity to burn off some energy and get exposure to our gymnastics and ninja equipment — without the structure of a class. Whether you’re new to bowling or a seasoned pro, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the game, practice skills, and socialize with friends. Your registration includes bowling, shoe rental, 2 slices of cheese pizza, and a pop – everything you need for a great time with friends and family Our staff will be on hand to provide assistance as needed, and adaptive equipment (such as bowling ramps and bumpers) will be available to ensure everyone can participate. Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. If they prefer, children have time to change after school.Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor. It is the responsibility of the parent to transport children from East Bethel Elementary School, St. Francis Elementary School, or other locations to class.

After first viewing the Biblical Mt. Ararat from its capital city, Yerevan, we’ll explore Areni Cave where archeologists have unearthed a 6000 year old wine press and an array of fermenting vats and storage pots. We’ll follow the trail of prehistoric standing stones, Armenia’s Stonehenge, marching across the mountaintop, visit a pagan temple complex, and a monastery carved into a mountain And we will learn the truth about the holocaust perpetrated by the Ottoman Turks in 1915 in which 1.5 million Armenians lost their lives. This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Bring a bag lunch, beverage and a snack.

Rum River BMX was named the #1 track in the United States for BMX racing. At BMX, everyone gets to participate. It’s a great way for riders of all ages to stay active, build confidence, develop life skills, connect with others, and most importantly, have fun! During your time at the track you’ll learn the fundamentals, including but not limited to; Answers to the question “What is BMX racing?”, types of race bikes, BMX terminology and safety. The best part? You get to hit the track! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders, (novices,non USA BMX membership holders) interested in the sport. If you can pedal a bike without training wheels, you can participate! No special bikes required. No worries about bringing a bike with you, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available in a number of sizes. Bikes and full face helmets are available on a first come first serve basis. A full face helmet is recommended, some form of helmet is required. Riders must wear long pants, long sleeves and tennis shoes. Riders ready? Check in from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. Class from 6:00 to 7:45 pm.
