Learn the ins and outs of 3D printing with TinkerCAD! Students will learn to design their own custom mobs and Minecraft-inspired creations. One design will be printed offline and mailed home. Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. If they prefer, children have time to change after school.Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor. It is the responsibility of the parent to transport children from East Bethel Elementary School, St. Francis Elementary School, or other locations to class.

This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Bring a bag lunch, beverage and a snack.

Rum River BMX was named the #1 track in the United States for BMX racing. At BMX, everyone gets to participate. It’s a great way for riders of all ages to stay active, build confidence, develop life skills, connect with others, and most importantly, have fun! During your time at the track you’ll learn the fundamentals, including but not limited to; Answers to the question “What is BMX racing?”, types of race bikes, BMX terminology and safety. The best part? You get to hit the track! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders, (novices,non USA BMX membership holders) interested in the sport. If you can pedal a bike without training wheels, you can participate! No special bikes required. No worries about bringing a bike with you, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available in a number of sizes. Bikes and full face helmets are available on a first come first serve basis. A full face helmet is recommended, some form of helmet is required. Riders must wear long pants, long sleeves and tennis shoes. Riders ready? Check in from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. Class from 6:00 to 7:45 pm.

Are you ready to sing, dance and change the world? This is the 3rd year for the “Bee the Change” kids choir. This choir is open to students in grades 3-5 and is held at Cedar Creek Elementary School. The choir has grown so we are offering a Tuesday or Wednesday after school rehearsal. Sign up for just one. This group will have at least 2 school performances and a “Friends and Family” performance at the end of each session. Fee includes a long sleeved T-shirt. Performance will be held at Cedar Creek Elementary. You must register for the class and the performance!

Build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders! Whether this is your first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. The Fall 2022 Code Championship Series is a series of six tournaments in six weeks (it's ok to miss one or two). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Please come knowing how to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament.

First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10 year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class.

Get ready for the hilariously gross world of Grossology! Kids will craft snot slime erupting from a clay nose and create colorful gummy worm bacteria in a petri dish. Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up. Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Come join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills with a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use our RC Cars or use your own on approval. K-1st grade should have someone present during class with the student.

Clay by itself makes great art, but adding beads and sequins makes it even better! Students will choose from several shape templates to cut out from Air-dry clay to create fun and funky mosaics. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.
