Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. If they prefer, children have time to change after school.Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor. It is the responsibility of the parent to transport children from East Bethel Elementary School, St. Francis Elementary School, or other locations to class.

Come create a colorful art project using special fluorescent art materials that really glow under blacklight. This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Bring a bag lunch, beverage and a snack.

First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 11 year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class.

We will be creating a leaf mosaic inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Mulberry Tree painting. We will explore air dry clay while creating a mosaic. We will be using beads to create a leaf. We will even give our clay mosaics a shiny finish at the end. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Jump into the Fizzy, Fun, and Slime Lab! Kids will create rainbow fizz, erupting ice cream cone volcanoes, water bead stress balls, and an array of ooey gooey slime creations. We will make a colorful Christmas tree completely out of fringe! This is your child’s chance to come and create hand-crafted gifts just in time for the holiday season! Great gifts for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and of course that favorite teacher. What great keepsakes! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills with a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use our RC Cars or use your own on approval. K-1st grade should have someone present during class with the student.

Let’s get gooey with the silliest slime you’ve ever seen- Melted Snowman Slime! In this class, we’ll mix, stir, and squish as we whip up a batch of slime, then add in some silly mix-ins to create a snowman who got a little too much sun- silly snowman! We will decorate our slime jar with Model Magic to create the perfect winter scene to store our slime. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.
