Birth to Kindergarten and Parents- SeparatingBirth to Kindergarten & Attending Adult(s) - SeparatingTime for you and your childr/ren to interact and learn together and also time for parents/caregivers to meet with other parents and a parent educator. These classes do separate for the parent education time. Staff will work with families to create successful separation based on child and family needs. If a class has started please call for possible openings. Fees: Fees are for one child and parent(s). For each additional child from the same family registering for the same class, drop down one level on the sliding fee scale. There is no fee for a child 12 months or younger as of the class start date to enroll in a parent-child class. Horse Day CampHorse CampsKids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING?● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside ofbarn.● No flip flops.● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch● Treats for the horses if you want● Helmets are provided. General InterestB.L.A.S.T. - Babysitting 101: Emergency Outfitters This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. F.A.S.T. KIDS – Staying Safe While Home Alone First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10 year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class. RC Car Racing This course is for intermediate level drivers, teens, and adults who want time on the track to drive RC Cars. Participants can use the RC Cars provided or bring their own RC Cars on approval. Introduction to RC Racing Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Come join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills with a few different types of RC Cars. Preschool Place 15Preschool Place 15 School Readiness is a program for families with children age 3 to kindergarten that is Parent Aware 4-Star rated. Preschool Place 15 provides a safe environment where young children of all abilities can grow and experience success, and their parents can be partners in learning. This program addresses development in all areas with particular attention to early literary and social skills. Programming takes place September through May. A non-refundable registration fee of $45 for preschool classes will be charged at the time of confirmation. Classes are offered at two locations. The ECFC site offers classes for 3 and 4 year olds at 18900 Cedar Dr NW, Oak Grove. The SFE site offers (2) classes for 4 year olds at St. Francis Elementary.
