Tackle Football Grades 2-8

Make sure to sign up for the grade you will be in for the 22-23 school year.

St. Francis Youth Football is part of the TCNFL league. This is a competitive league that plays other communities with 2nd-8th grade tackle football teams. 

There is no guarantee for equal playing time. 

2nd-6th grade coaches are instructed to do their best at working towards equal playing time. 

7th-8th grade coaches are instructed that playing time is based on ability. 

Registration deadline is July 15th.  Athletes not registered by July 15th, will pay a $20 late registration fee and may not be allowed to play depending on our need for players at each grade level.

Equipment Hand-Out will be on July 17th and 18th at the St. Francis Middle School equipment shed. All players are expected to attend one of these sessions. (We will not hand out equipment if the player is not present) 

All players receive a game jersey, socks and a mouth guard that is theirs to keep. Players are responsible for their own cleats.

Each grade level will have two evaluation practices the week of August 1st. Times and locations TBD. Team drafts will be held on August 5th or 6th to determine grade level rosters.

Team practices will start the week of August 8th. There are no specific days or times set up for each grade level. Coaches will communicate with their team on times and locations.

Before the league season begins coaches are allowed to have up to 4 practices per week. Once the season starts coaches are allowed 3 practice days a week, including the game.

League games will begin on approximately September 10. 

The league schedule always comes out late.(I have no control of this) Usually one week prior to the start of the season if not later. I know many of you like to plan ahead. Please do not ask your coach when the schedule will be out. Trust me they want to see it as bad as you do. We will send the schedules out as soon as they are finalized.

Last thing. Make sure to tell your friends so they don't miss the deadline.
